The Author

Hey! My name is Raphael, I’m a senior in High School, and my story is pretty straightforward. My junior year was a constant struggle – a struggle to find what I wanted to do in college and beyond. The pressure when you see the confidence everyone around you has in their future can be disarming, and it definitely put a weight on my shoulders. Long story short, I ended up reaching out to STEM professionals around me, asking to chat. Eventually, I realized that my initiative could help others, and that’s the reason why you’re even reading this today. I hope this helps!

The intention behind these interviews is to help anyone who feels unsure or just wants to see what it’s like to actually BE a professional in STEM. Through these interviews, I hope you’ll deepen your comprehension of both the high-level aspect of STEM careers as well as what it means on a day-to-day basis to be a STEM professional. The rubric that I use is not a rating, and is purely subjective and based off of the interview content, so make your own informed opinion based on what you take out of the interviews.
